HF 2524 kHz Monitoring to Cease

Due to the increased use of VHF we will no longer maintain a listening watch on HF frequency 2524 kHz as from 1 March 2023.

Tas Maritime Radio will continue to monitor the Distress and Calling frequencies 4125, 6215 and 8291 kHz from 0700 to 1900 daily. Skeds will continue to be conducted on 4146 and 6227 kHz as normal. VHF services will not be affected.
