CYCT Members visit TMR Ops Centre

In early December Cruising Yacht Club of Tasmania members visited Tas Maritime's new Operations Building at the Queens Domain where they experienced Tas Maritime Radio in operation.

Despite there not being very much radio traffic at all (it was surprisingly quiet) the CYCT group was able to inspect the our facilities and the radio museum. At 1733 they all gathered inside (see photo) to experience the 1733 sked from the Tas Maritime perspective. This was followed by a meeting and barbecue outside in the pleasant December evening.

The meeting gave everyone the opportunity to finally put some faces to the names we all hear on the radio.
