Codan

Tasmar Radio acquired this Codan transmitter in the early 1990s from the School of the Air service where is was used to transmit lessons to children in remote areas. At that time it was a transmitter only. Barry McCann added a receiver module and remote control equipment to the unit so that it became a remotely operated transceiver.

Tasmar Radio used this for several years to transmit and receive on HF frequencies from the Snug Tiers base.
